Scott is a director, an admitted attorney and a qualified solicitor of England and Wales. He is a fellow of the Association of Arbitrators of Southern Africa.
He has 23 years post qualification experience, 18 years of which of which has been specialising in all legal aspects of the construction and engineering fields with extensive experience in the standard forms of construction contracts (JBCC, FIDIC, NEC, GCC) and all aspects of alternative dispute resolution. He has represented numerous contractors in a number of mediations, adjudications and arbitrations both locally and internationally.
He has acted as an arbitrator and adjudicator in construction and engineering-related matters.
He also provides in-house training to clients, in particular on the law of contract and the JBCC.
Scott was employed at Kingsbourne in 2004 and became a director in 2009.

Steven is a director, an admitted attorney and a Fellow of the Association of Arbitrators Southern Africa. He has over 20 years of experience as an attorney and advocate. He is a construction law specialist having represented a large array of construction and commercial clients in court litigation, arbitrations and adjudications.
He has acted as an arbitrator and adjudicator in various construction and engineering-related matters and provides commercial litigation advice and representation.
Prior to joining Hewlett Bunn Incorporated, Steven practised as an advocate for 10 years at the Johannesburg Bar where he specialised in construction disputes. Steven also has extensive experience in the business rescue and liquidation processes and general commercial litigation.

She has extensive experience litigating in a number of areas of the law, having practised as an advocate for 5 years.
She advises clients in relation to construction and engineering-related disputes and adds valuable litigation experience and insight to the team having represented employers, contractors and sub-contractors in a number of mediations, adjudications and arbitrations. She is also experienced in advising clients on all the standard forms of construction contracts (FIDIC, GCC, JBCC, NEC, Bespoke Contracts) and International and Corporate Contracts.
Prior to joining Hewlett Bunn Incorporated, Julie-Anne was a Construction Contract and Dispute Resolution Legal Advisor at Kingsbourne (Pty) Ltd. Julie-Anne also has extensive experience in Insurance Law.
As an advocate she advised on numerous areas of the law including; Civil Litigation, Contractual Law, Insurance Law, Commercial and Company Law, Immigration Law, Public Law, Labour Law, Matrimonial Law, Third Party Litigation and Restraint of Trade. She worked on various high-profile cases including an application at the Zondo Commission of Inquiry into State Capture, the trial for the Decriminalization of Cannabis, ‘the Trial of the Plant’, and cases relating to the holding accountable of high-level government departments and officials regarding their conduct during ‘Operation Fiela-Reclaim’.

Lauren is a senior associate, an admitted attorney, notary and conveyancer with over 13 years experience.
She provides construction law advice in the areas of construction related disputes, demonstrating particular experience in the areas of adjudication, arbitration, litigation and environmental law. Her notarial practice and conveyancing qualifications bring invaluable experience in property related disputes.
Lauren is a strong professional with a Master of Laws (LLM) focused in Environmental Law and Governance from North West University.
