Scott is a director, an admitted attorney and a qualified solicitor of England and Wales. He is a fellow of the Association of Arbitrators of Southern Africa.

He has 24 years post qualification experience, 20 years of which has been specialising in all legal aspects of the construction and engineering fields with extensive experience in the standard forms of construction contracts (JBCC, FIDIC, NEC, GCC) and all aspects of alternative dispute resolution. He has represented numerous contractors in a number of mediations, adjudications and arbitrations both locally and internationally.

He has acted as an arbitrator and adjudicator in construction and engineering-related matters.

He also provides in-house training to clients, in particular on the law of contract and the JBCC.

Scott was employed at Kingsbourne in 2004 and became a director in 2009.

Lauren is a senior associate, an admitted attorney, notary and conveyancer with over 15 years experience. 

She provides construction law advice in the areas of construction related disputes, demonstrating particular experience in the areas of adjudication, arbitration, litigation and environmental law. Her notarial practice and conveyancing qualifications bring invaluable experience in property related disputes.  

Lauren is a strong professional with a Master of Laws (LLM) focused in Environmental Law and Governance from North West University.

Prior to joining Hewlett Bunn Incorporated, Lauren was a Director at Buckley-Farinha Inc.

Jessica obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Law, majoring in Criminology, in 2019, and her Bachelor of Laws (cum laude) in 2021.

Jessica is a junior associate at Hewlett Bunn Incorporated and an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

Since joining Hewlett Bunn Incorporated in 2022, Jessica has assisted and gained experience in various construction and engineering related matters.

She has knowledge and understanding in handling multiple standard form construction contracts such as FIDIC, GCC, JBCC, and NEC.

In addition, Jessica has assisted in a number of adjudications, arbitrations and court litigation.

Marc is a junior associate at Hewlett Bunn Incorporated and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2024.

He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Bachelor of Law degrees from Stellenbosch University in 2018 and 2021, respectively.

Since joining Hewlett Bunn Incorporated in 2022, Marc has been involved in multiple aspects of construction and engineering law and disputes and has gained experience in multiple standard form construction contracts (JBCC, FIDIC, GCC and NEC).

Marc has assisted in representing clients in adjudications and arbitrations both locally and internationally, and has assisted in multiple litigation proceedings in South Africa.
